Google Search by SMSes; Now its possible in India

Google Search Solution, Google India has launched the SMS search service, where you can SMS the Google number with and get results back via sms.
The sms costs you (Rs 2 or whatever is the rate for national sms for your provider). This is a big+ because you dont have to pay for premium sms as you would have to do if you used other shortcodes.

How do you search? The number to remember (or to add to your contacts) for google search is:

Send your query as sms to this number and you will get a reply containing the results. Here is a sample reply which you would get if you search for “weather delhi”. There are special searches for trains, cricket scores and similar stuff.You can find some example queries and other details on the google mobile page.

Monetize – Adsense added to dashboard in Blogger

Just over a month, the Google improved and added Mobile posting to Blogger in the Dashboard. Since today it will be available for all standard Blogger accounts.

You may have noticed that about a week ago a new tab showed up in Blogger for your blog. The tab is called Monetize, and in case it isn’t clear what that means: it’s now easier than ever to make money with your blog! (There’s also a "Monetize" link from your Dashboard as well.)

The current Monetize tab allows you to apply for an AdSense account (or link your Blogger blog to an existing AdSense account). You can then choose where to place ads on your blog, and once ads start appearing on your blog, review your earnings. We use the AdSense API to pull your live earnings data from your AdSense account, so now it’s easy to check how your revenues are doing without leaving the Blogger interface.

Note that new applications may take a few days to process, and not every site will be approved to Monetize…

New version of Gmail for iPhone & Android brings new features

Google has the mobile version of Gmail revised. The new version for the iPhone and Android brings new features that are already out of the normal Gmail knows.

With checkboxes you can now mail in a more impetus to the archive and then the inbox, which, incidentally, has become faster, more speed.

The search is now up and thus easier to reach. In addition, the optics revised. The labels are now in the same colors as a normal computer background.

The new version is used by all supported versions of Android, the iPhone OS 2.2.1 must be installed if you would benefit from the features wish. Google “rolls” the update straight. In a few days should be enough for all his unlocked.

Google blogger now supports mobile and email blog postings with some new updates

If you have a blog on Google’s Blogger (Blogspot.com), you can configure mobile posting by going to your Blogger Dashboard on draft.blogger.com. Here are the tips to start mobile blogging:

Click the gray phone icon next to your blog name to enable SMS or MMS for your mobile device. Register your device by sending claim code to Blogger via SMS or MMS. Messages you send to BLOGGR (256447) will be posted to your blog.
To enable Email posting, click the gray envelope icon in Blogger dashboard, and define a secret email address. Note: All emails to this address will be posted to your blog, include a photo in your post by sending it as an attachment. Blogger will insert the photo between the title and the body of your post.
To edit your Mobile settings, you can click on the phone or envelope icons on your Blogger Dashboard, or go to the Settings > Email & Mobile tab.
Follow these instructions to create a blog from your phone and claim it later.
