Google Hires Product Managers for Games to expand its Game-O-Sphere

Google recently posted a job vacancy for the game department. The new Job description publicly posted is for a “product Manager, Games”.

Social gaming sector has been budding for a long time within Google, but this is the first time Google officially confirmed this news. It is unclear if this would be Google Games for the Android platform or will it be for the new Chrome OS platform, or all Internet users. This job posting has a requirement for candidates to head the new department, who can design the user experience to help developers work, and work with the gaming community.

Google’s latest job posting said: “We are looking for a strategic vision, with relevant technical, and love the game product manager; Google in order to promote the development of the game strategy you will release the game plan, to explore new game, the player character, game mechanics, etc. In addition to well-designed user experience and to establish a significant relationship, you need to direct and early test work and game developers, Google social platform you will play an important role.”

The main responsibilities being:

• Drive feature requirements for Google’s gaming platform
• Work with business development and developer relations to drive gaming partnerships/ content deals
• Initiate and prioritize projects within engineering, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, track product development, and develop product launch plans.
• Establish partnerships internally and externally to drive the growth of games
